What if I'm not comfortable in my body?
Did you know that according to the brain, our imagination feels a lot like reality? Guided imagery work uses our imagination to help reduce overwhelm, anxiety, panic, fears, among many other issues. Our typical imagery work starts with building a "safe space" in our mind and some boundary making, if needed.
The body holds the memories of our past and shows us information through our breath, felt sensations, movement, body structure, impulses, etc. When I bring re-parenting to the session, there can be a huge shift in how we see and work with ourselves. It can also be powerful learning tools.
